Lattes & lapdogs

On one afternoon of our Korea trip, we visited the "puppy cafe" in the Jangsan neighbourhood of Busan (Jangsan subway, exit 3).  For 8000 KRW you can get into the cafe, choose a drink, have some snacks, and hang out with some cute dogs!

I was surprised to see some big dogs there (including what looked like a Bernese mountain dog and a golden retriever), but the bigger dogs were not in the food area.  They were just hanging out near the counter on the other side of the gate.  The smaller dogs (and one cat!) were hanging out with us in the part of the cafe with tables and couches.  Some of them were pretty active and jumped up on the couch beside us.

Only in Asia would a cafe like this exist...

  1. I wonder where they live the rest of the time? Does the staff take them home at night?
So many questions . . . Mandy would like doing this job - she loves having her ears scratched :)
